Johanna Ronn
An Introduction
Johanna Liljestrand Rönn is an award-winning photographer from Sweden. Photography has been a big part of her life for the last ten years and her work has been exhibited in solo exhibitions both in Sweden and abroad.
In her work, she often seeks to capture a sense of closeness. By staying present in the moment and disconnecting from the general buzz of the outer world, she aims to capture calm, intimate moments.
She uses both digital and analogue photography and working in the darkroom is often part of the creative process.
Of the collaboration Johanna says, “To let yourself be inspired in your work and having music to guide you is not just a challenge but an invitation to become part of something beautiful. I put the music on and I enter into that bubble, that tiny world that consists of only what I see through my lens and the music. It is the closest I come to meditation and it is fascinating to feel the mood that the music and photos create together.”
