Tracks 2 and 3 were originally written as part of our collaboration with Gordon MacLellan and the spoken word versions can be heard on the, ‘Whisper Along the Wind’ album.

‘Sandalwood Psalm’ is a brand new composition, written especially for the Trio and is a great taster for what to expect when the album, 'Partial Magick' comes our in October.

I am once again honoured and delighted to have another stunning photo from my long time friend and collaborator Johanna Rönn accompanying the release.

Johanna has created a specially set of nature-themed cyanotypes to accompany the work. Collectively they feel like a set of runic inscriptions from an ancient card game which I think goes perfectly with the old world theme of Magick in the album title.

Going forwards our intention is to release our music exclusively on Bandcamp. We have taken the decision that giving our music away on the streaming platforms is not working for us as artists and, as well as the derisory income we receive from these channels, we are particularly unhappy with Spotify's recent investment in the Arms industry.

So please take this opportunity to download the Bandcamp app. It is every bit as convenient to use as the Spotify or Apple Music. You can still take your music with you wherever you go and cast it through your blue-tooth speakers, Hi-Fi or car stereo etc. But, you will be properly supporting the musicians and artists who produce the work which enables us to continue recording and performing this music.
